The Single Spiral Separator is an end-of-line solution used to separate sprue from part on the plastic injection line. For complex separation problems, the spiral separator offers an ideal solution; parts are typically separated by sliding within the spiral area.
Sprue and product are guided to different outlet points by the spiral roller motion. Depending on the product and sprue dimensions, the distance between the spiral and the slide mouth is adjustable — providing flexible use with a single machine across different part and runner geometries.

Sprue and product are routed to separate outlets. The product goes directly to the next station; the sprue goes to the recycling line — operator intervention stays at a minimum.
The gap between the spiral and the slide mouth is adjustable according to product and sprue dimensions. The same machine offers flexible use across different moulds and part sizes.
