The Horizontal Ribbon Mixer provides an extremely compact solution when installation conditions require it. It is designed for easy replacement of critical parts. The rotating seals have a special automatic system to recover the clearance caused by wear — eliminating the frequent manual adjustments required by traditional packing-seal systems and guaranteeing optimum bearing life; costly machine downtime is avoided.
The top lid features doors for cleaning and product loading. Raw material is discharged from the centre through an outlet operated manually or pneumatically.
T-MAX ribbon mixers are manufactured from painted thick carbon-steel sheets or from AISI 304 / AISI 316 stainless-steel sheets with appropriate surface treatments. Volume options from 340 to 3,500 L.
The mixing operation is performed quickly and homogeneously thanks to the unique four-direction ribbon with four cross-flows. Short mixing times and high repeatability.
Gear-motor with right-angle shafts and direct transmission via an elastic torsion-flex coupling — quiet operation. The coupling reduces vibrations and the maximum impact load; it acts as a true shock absorber for rotary motion. The automatic rotating-seal system lowers maintenance costs.
