Skirted Raw-Material Silos are designed for the reliable storage of granule, powder and flake plastics. Manufactured from special-alloy aluminium or stainless steel using welded construction; the conical angle is determined by the raw-material characteristic.
It eliminates costly storage in the production area; prevents raw material from being adversely affected by weather conditions and reduces the risk of foreign-matter contamination. Used with a central loading system, it reduces unnecessary movement in the plant, increases efficiency and enables direct feeding of raw materials to the machines.
