Short-Skirt Filling Silos are ideal for storing granule, powder and flake plastic raw materials and transferring them to containers or silo-truck units. Manufactured from special-alloy aluminium or stainless steel by welded construction; suitable for platform-mount installation.
To address the dust issue that arises during filling, the system operates through a telescopic bellows that extends and retracts. By trapping the dust inside the bellows, while the material flows downward under its own weight the dust is drawn upward by vacuum — filling takes place in a dust-free environment. Sensors that prevent raw-material overflow and an automatic retraction feature at the end of loading ensure a safe and fast filling operation.
Special-alloy aluminium or stainless-steel material; welded construction. Suitable for platform-mount installation. Conical angle matched to raw-material characteristics; long life against corrosion; compliant with food and occupational-safety standards.
