Sprue Pickers & Pick and Place Robots for Injection Moulding
Machines
Sepro produces pneumatic and electronically controlled CNC robots according to the process, material variety and the requested capability. Electronically controlled CNC robots are powered by non-synchronized motors for medium speeds and by Brushless Servo motors for faster speeds and precise production processes and applications. Sepro also produces low cost and simpler robots called manipulators for low capacity injection moulding machines (up to 600 tons) in order to perform basic functions such as picking and placing. These
robot's 3 axes can work pneumatically and the X-axis can also work with numeric control.
Conveyor receivers only have 2 linear axes and only one of them has a rotation feature.
Sepro XN and YN manipulators are only used for basic picking and placing functions for low capacity injection moulding machines (maximum capacity is 600 tons).
XN
Only does picking and placing. Only X-axis can be controlled numerically, other two axes are pneumatic.
YN
Only does picking and placing. X and Y-axes are both can be controlled numerically. Z-axis is pneumatic. In manipulators, Z-axis is always pneumatic.
Sepro designed AZ and BZ robots for more complicated applications. These robots can be used for greater capacity injection moulding machines without any tonnage restriction. All 3-axes of these robots are powered by CNC and Servo motors.
AZ
X and Y-axes are powered by a non-synchronized motor; Z-axis is powered by a Brushless Servo motor. Speed has greater importance on vertical axis (Y axis).
BZ
X,Y,Z-axes are powered by a Brushless Servo Motor. For complicated applications, such as palletizing, stacking, insert loading and in-mould labeling, BZ series is preferred.
Sepro's smallest robot series named as XP Series; all 3-axes of these robots are controlled pneumatically and can be used for up to 100 ton injection moulding machines.
