ICMA SAN GIORGIO was established in 1945, as a mechanical workshop for processing the casting parts manufactured by Fonderia Giuseppe Colombo, a company of the same group.

Technical innovations, machine performance and precision compose the main understanding of ICMA in its operations performed in the plastic processing field. The Company has activities in 32 countries.

In 1968, ICMA started Twin-Screw extruder production for plastic applications. Following that it has succeeded to attract attention in plastics market with high capacity and low energy consumption.

In 1974, ICMA developed the machine which could manufacture panels through forming called wood stuck PP under pressure and received its patent; this type of products presently have a wide usage in automobile sector.

Today ICMA makes production in a wide product line for the following applications, with high/low speed options and high torque models of Co-Rotating Twin Screw extruders.

In March 2000, quality systems of ICMA were awarded with certificate of conformity for UNI EN ISO 9001 design standards, extrusion and plastics manufacturing facilities production and service standards.
